About Moji

Where it came from

We built agent orchestration and a workspace to run agents in, then ran hosted, multiplayer agents at scale ourselves. Watching the inference bill climb out of proportion to the work, we built the router to cut our own spend, and it became the company.

What Moji is

Moji is the management layer for AI inference. It cuts and controls enterprise AI spend as agentic workloads and token usage scale. Today's routers pick one model per prompt. Moji manages every turn of a long task, routing across the providers you already use, holding quality above a floor and spend inside a budget you set.

Where the bill comes from

AI has moved to long, multi-turn work: agents that take many steps, coding tools that loop, assistants that hold long conversations. Every step resends the accumulated context, so the tokens per session climb fast, and the model API becomes a cost of goods that grows faster than revenue. Providers cache the repeated context at a fraction of the price, so the shape of the bill is repetition paid for again and again.

The team

We are a research team building the management layer for AI inference, and the models to power it. Between us: AI research and infrastructure, with published work on LLM memory, the field this routing runs on; and product, strategy and GTM built on AI product and data science in banking, and technology investment banking for high-growth startups.

What we are building

Our routing engine already scores above published state-of-the-art routers on a public router benchmark (2026). Cost is the first layer of managing your inference. On top of it we are building cache-priced session routing, to keep context warm across a whole conversation; our own models that scale intelligence continuously on demand, a dial the router sets per turn; and agent routing, matching each sub-task of an autonomous system to the right model inside a cost envelope. One control layer for what you spend on inference.

The name

The four shapes, a diamond, square, circle, and triangle in gold, blue, orange, and green, come from the wider Moji work. Here they stand for the providers the router routes across.

The company
